TIME FOR TWOS – EIJ406

Bring your two-year-old to the library for age appropriate stories, rhymes and songs. No siblings please.
Date: Thursday, June 1
Time: 10:30 – 11 a.m.
Ages: Two-year-olds with an adult, no siblings

MORE THAN MOTHER GOOSE – EIJ403

More than Mother Goose for children includes nursery rhymes, songs, finger plays, and stories. Parents participate with their child. Older siblings welcome. This program will be offered at two times. Please select the date that is most convenient.
Date: Friday, June 2 OR Saturday, June 3
Time: 10:30 – 11 a.m.
Ages: Birth through 3 years old with an adult, siblings welcome

MOVEMENT STORY TIME - EIJ522

I like to move it, you like to move it, we like to MOVE it!  This story time will meet in the Children’s Room and, weather permitting, take place in the Discovery Backyard.  Afterwards, please stay to stretch your legs and get your wiggles out.

FANTASTIC FATHER’S DAY FUN – EIJ436

Children and their dads can join us for breakfast, games and a craft.  Head outside afterwards to enjoy the Discovery Backyard together.
Date: Saturday, June 10
Time: 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.
Ages: 3 ½ - 5th grade with your dad or other special man in your life, no siblings

DISCOVERY SATURDAY – EIJ426

Families can stop by any time between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. to create an art project while exploring nature in the Discovery Backyard.

Time: 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.
Ages: All ages with an adult

BABY TIME - EIJ404

These parent and child programs include fun age appropriate activities designed to stimulate and encourage your child's physical and mental development
Dates: Thursdays, June 15 & 22
Time: 10 - 10:45 a.m.
Ages: Pre-walkers, 3 months and up with an adult, no siblings

TODDLER TIME - EIJ405

These parent and child programs include fun age appropriate activities designed to stimulate and encourage your child's physical and mental development.

Time: 11 – 11:45 a.m.
Ages: Walkers through 23 months old with an adult, no siblings

5th ANNUAL TOUCH A TRUCK – EIJ567

Families are invited to this Summer Reading Club Kick-off event where children can climb on, explore and discover big trucks and vehicles.  Children can also meet some of the people that protect, serve and build our town.  And of course, while you are here, you can register for this year’s Summer Reading Club, Build a Better World! (Raindate: Wednesday, June 21)

JUMBO SPEED STACKING COMPETITION – EIJ561

Use building skills by yourself and with a team.  Chef Rob leads this active program that includes other age appropriate games and watermelon for everyone!

COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT: SIT-UPON – EIJ441

Earn an hour of community service as you make sit-upons for use in our Discovery Backyard.

Ages: Grades 5 and up

FROGS JUMP! – EIJ456

Join A Time for Kids for an hour of fun and a frog craft.
Date: Tuesday, June 27
Time: 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.
Ages: PRESCHOOL children ages 2 – 5 (not yet in kindergarten) with an adult, no siblings

READ TO THE DOGS – EIJ578

Students practice their reading skills and gain confidence by reading aloud to a trained Therapy Dog. Dogs and their handlers are registered with Therapy Dogs International. Student readers can sign up for a 20-minute session when they come to the Children’s Desk to register.

Ages: Readers in grades 1 – 6

POLKA DOT!: SUPER SILLY SING AND LAUGH ALONG – EIJ576

Kiddie rocker Ron Albanese, better known as “Polka Dot!”, along with “Mr. Guitar” performs this interactive comedy and music show.  Weather permitting, the program will be held in the Discovery Backyard.  Please bring a lawn chair.

MINECRAFT MANIA - EIJ560

Do you think you have what it takes to be the next master architect? Join our Minecraft building tournament to show off your skills.
